Phila. Flower Show! Cactus Booth!

Hey Gang!

Here is what the Phila. Cactus and Succulent Society booth at the Phila. Flower Show
looks like.  It is an educational booth with a variety of plants representing the full
range of cacti and succulents.
The booth is full of plants of all shapes and sizes.

The booth gets a lot of traffic and a lot of question with people taking tons of photos.
The plants in the booth are labeled so it you have been wondering the name of your
plant, you can identify your plant in the booth.
The plants labeled in yellow are succulents!
There are succulents many to view.

Belonging To Growing Clubs!

Hey Gang!

One of my favorite things is belonging to growing clubs!  I belong to several
clubs!

One is the Indoor Plant Society which is a chapter of Hobby Greenhouse Assoc.
We meet every month from Sept. to June except for February on the third Saturday
of the month.

Every meeting we have a show and tell.  Members bring in three plants and tell
about how we grow them and what care they require. You learned some really
interesting and informative things from hearing from the grower that I haven't
read in a book!

Here are some pictures from our last meeting and Holiday Brunch!

 Orchids!

 White Sprite!

Popcorn plant that smells like popcorn!

Swedish Ivy!

Our Brunch!

 Pollyanna!
For me, this is one of the best meeting of the year!  I love the breakfast and hanging out!
